The Opéra Nice Côte d'Azur welcomes you to music in its building facing the sea, on the edge of Old Nice, and listed as a historic monument since 1992. Built in 1885 and renovated by Charles Garnier in 1892, it has an Italian room with three levels of boxes, and can accommodate more than 1000 spectators. With its Philharmonic Orchestra, its Ballet Nice Méditerranée and its Choir, the Opéra Nice Côte d'Azur offers a high-level programme.
Since his arrival in 2019, Bertrand Rossi, Managing Director, has been working on setting up a program of openness, novelty and audacity. His desire to move the lines by addressing not only the faithful public, but also all those who have not yet crossed the doors of the Opera, is discovered through innovative proposals adapted to all tastes and all budgets.
